Pickups Are Just A Phone Call Away!
Glacier Valley Transit is the local bus service that operates in Girdwood, AK. GVT’s flex-route service was designed to meet the diverse needs of our entire community, including individuals who may have difficulty getting to established bus stops. With advanced notice GVT buses can be rerouted to serve locations within a half mile of our route.
This service will be provided when there is time in the schedule and road conditions are good. GVT will balance the amount of time available for off-route trips to ensure reliable bus service for all customers. Please see our schedule for exact operating times and plan on arriving at your pickup location five (5) minutes early.

Flex-route service is not available in adverse weather.
