Supporting Glacier Valley Transit
Whether you ride GVT or not, all of Girdwood benefits from the service we provide. GVT provides a safe, reliable and inexpensive public transportation option to residents and visitors of Girdwood. GVT brings residents and visitors to local retailers, restaurants, services and trails. Community investment in public transit is beneficial as it promotes greater mobility and economic activity. Transportation studies show that for every dollar invested in public transit, five dollars are returned to the community in economic benefits and saved costs.
HOW TO BECOME A SPONSOR
GVT is looking for individuals and businesses to help alleviate the costs of providing public transportation. GVT is a private, nonprofit 501c3 company and donations are tax deductible.
Sponsors at this level will get their business name and logo with a link to their website on the “Supporting Glacier Valley Transit” page of the GVT website for one year.
$500 level benefits plus:
An 11” x 14” sign installed in each GVT bus for one year. GVT will purchase and install the signs once the design has been approved. Approximately 75,000 passengers ride our buses annually.
